 Respect the national anthem: do we really?

  note : these are my personal views and not meant to hurt anybody's sentiments.....

We all know that India our mother land has suffered various transitions in its history and the type of governance taken from monarchy wherein people used to rule the motherland to the current scenario of it being the largest democracy of the world.
 It has also suffered a transition in the language of the national anthem and not only the language but it has also experienced a reduction in its length during the singing procedure ,originally the anthem has 5 stanzas but only the first stanza is sung not only that only the first stanza is taught to the students. we say that any person who stops to continue singing the national anthem while the national anthem is sung disrespects it without knowing the fact that the national anthem we are taught already is incomplete. the original anthem has the following lyrics:

    Taking another case of standing while the national anthem been sung it s no where mentioned in the laws of the national anthem that one can be given an imprisonment for more than one year.however it s only mentioned that 
"whoever intentionally prevents the singing of the Jana Gana Mana or causes disturbances to any assembly engaged in such singing shall be punished with imprisonment for a term, which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both."
  
However it does not mean if a person does not stand while the national anthem is been sung can b imprisoned . the person can be imprisoned only if he/she interferes or creates disturbance while the national anthem is been sung. the need of the hour is to educate and aware more and more of people about it and let others know ...
