THE BIGGEST THREAT TO EARTH IS THE BELIEF THAT SOMEONE ELSE WILL COME AND SAVE IT.

The universe comprises of one hundred billion galaxies and each galaxy has more than500 solar systems present in it out of which our Milky Way galaxy comprises of 100 billion solar systems. Only the blue planet i.e. earth has parasites living on it called humans. Yes, it is we who are proving to become parasites for our mother earth taken from murdering trees for building houses to killing and pinning other creatures for research purposes and from pushing the smoke of industries into the atmosphere to throwing the effluents in the water bodies we have been destroying mother earth in many ways. 
Earth has always given us everything we need for our survival and it is we who owe our lives to her. If earth would not have been emerged we all would not be surviving. It has given us so many gifts and in return what have we given to her is her own destruction. Earth defines us it always has given us the wonders.  Today, in this contemporary world I think it was the biggest mistake of earth to have life and due to this mistake it is she who is suffering and destroying her own self .it’s just like the Hindi phrase”Apne  per par khud kulhaadi maarna” which means to do one’s own harm oneself. 
           There exist three major reasons which make us the ;living parasites on earth .first reason of us being parasites on earth is our own belief that why should we protect it and someone else will come and save it we are busy with our own lives. Second reason is our own greed. Greed is nothing but a desire to have more and more of favourable thing without thinking of its consequences and the impact it is going to make in other’s life. 
    The father of the nation, Gandhi Ji has rightly said “the earth has enough to satisfy one’s need not enough to satisfy everyone’s greed.” which seems to be true in this contemporary world. The third and the most important reason are ignorance and lack of awareness. When most of people come across such issues they usually do not think about it and if they think about it they take action for few days and after that forget about it. As the saying goes it’s never too late and we have to take the initiative to protect it from getting damaged further. 
The most important need of the hour is the continuous effort we need to put in to protect it and creating awareness among people to protect it through media both print as well as electronic  or any other source so that the information reaches every nook and corner of the whole world
